Before
writing about their ambitions a teacher asked her class what they wanted
to be when they grew up.
‘I
want to be an astronaut’ replied the first.
‘I
want to be a psychiatrist’ enthused the second.
When
the next little girl said she wanted to become a footballer the teacher
enquired, ‘Is that because it’s such an exhilarating sport which will
allow you to bring joy and excitement to thousands of supporters?’
‘No
Miss,’ came the reply ‘I just don’t know how to spell astronaut or
psychiatrist.’
