wouldn’t say the manager’s tactics were naive but :

His
10-0-1 formation did not result in the hundreds of goals he promised.

Blindfolding
the keeper to keep him calm during penalties just isn’t working.

Having
all the players wear number 1 to confuse the opposition is plain
silly.

His
6-6-1 formation was spotted by the referee immediately.
-
Putting
the ball boy on as substitute was asking for trouble.
-
The
‘only pass to a player with a prime number on his shirt’ rule is
totally confusing.
