Three
Rover fans were discussing some of the bad times their team had come
through.
‘I
think our worst game was last season when we lost 11-0 at home to
Thistle.’ said the first.
‘What
about two seasons ago,’ retorted the second ‘when we lost 4-0 to
United even though three of their players had been sent off?’
‘You’re
both wrong’ snapped the third ‘our very worse game was when we beat
the Saints 1-0.’
‘How
can a win possibly be our worst game?’ quizzed the others.
‘Well
. . . ’ came the reply ‘it was against Saint Mary’s Primary
School’s girl team!’
