During a crucial Karpov-Kasparov world chess championship the players came to an adjournment and went back to their hotel.  In the lobby of the hotel several chess enthusiasts were gathered and, after a few drinks, began bragging, 

I could beat Karpov easily,’ said the first.

‘Oh yeah,’ replied the second, ‘Well I could beat both of them at the same time.’  

Not to be outdone the third declared, ’That's nothing, I could beat both of them at the same time and blindfolded!’ 

Finally, the hotel manager had had enough and demanded that they leave the hotel.  ‘But why?’ they asked.
